About the university:

The American University of Girne, the first university in Cyprus, has been constantly developing and raising educational standards through its innovative and contemporary approach since 1985. With over 18,000 students, the large GAU family sees its students as members of the GAU family with the philosophy of “WELCOME TO ONE, BE ONE” .

Recognized worldwide, especially by the Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK), GAU is the university with the "most valid diploma" in its geography, with 27 separate accreditations.
