About the university:

Our university, which is distinguished by its identity as an international university, is a member of the Erasmus +, Mevlana and Farabi exchange programs and has signed international cooperation agreements with many universities around the world.

Our university logo is designed with inspiration from the art of calligraphy that developed in parallel with the birth and rise of our civilization. In this sense, the official layout of the letters IMU, which is grouped together as an abbreviation for Istanbul Medeniyet University, is similar to the Kufi script, one of the most traditional examples of classical Islamic art; The color of the letters is determined by turquoise, which is widely used in Turkish culture. As a shape, the letters IMU are expressed in abstract form, again symbolizing the birth and rise of our civilization, with the vertical shapes pointing upwards, i.e. progress.

Our university, which has a young and dynamic academic staff, provides full support to our students during their education with all its members in their academic and social life.

Its location, which provides fast and convenient connections to both sides of Istanbul by various public transport vehicles such as metro, metrobus and buses, North and South Göztepe Campuses, which are connected to each other by overpass on both sides of D- 100 Highway, Campuses in Kartal Cevizli and Tuzla Orhanlı with our university ; It provides education to all its students in Istanbul, the pearl of the world, the cradle of civilizations, kneaded with historical and cultural diversity.
