Ankara University is a university that defined and integrated the history and mission of the Republic with its state. The establishment of the Republic of Turkey goes far beyond simply changing a form of government, as it is a great social transformation system based on modern science and contemporary democratic values and institutions; The opening of Ankara University, in addition to the well-known goals of the university, also expresses the embodiment of a special mission. Ankara University is a university that was laid by the great Atatürk himself in order to lay the foundations for the principles and reforms of Ataturk, to spread and consolidate these principles and reforms throughout the country, and to act as an indomitable defender of these values, which are the expression of modernity, science and enlightenment. The first and striking achievements of the Young Republic in the field of higher education; The Faculty of Law was established in 1925 to train lawyers who would realize the new legal system of the secular and democratic republic, the Higher Institute of Agriculture, which began education in 1933 to serve Turkish farmers, and in 1935 it was to open the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, which was opened in Istanbul, and the Faculty of Science Political, which was created by orders and special interests of Atatürk, who has been training senior government officials since 1859 under the name of Mektebi Mülkiye and moved to Ankara in 1936. These are the preparations that Atatürk started, but its establishment was the second. It is necessary to add the Faculty of Medicine and Science, which was left in the early 1940s due to the Second World War.
