College, 2 vocational schools, 15 vocational schools, there is 1 conservatory, 4 institutes, 27 research and application centers, 1 research center and 5 departments set up under the management of the university.

Bursa Faculty of Medicine, founded in 1970 affiliated to Istanbul University, and Bursa Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, founded in 1974, form the basis of the university.

Our university, which was established as “University of Bursa” in Bursa by Law No. 1873 published in the Official Gazette dated April 11, 1975 and No. 15205, was named “Uludağ University” by Decree Law No. 41 on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions on July 20, 1982. However , the name of our university became “BURSA ULUDAĞ University” with the “Law on Amending the Law on Higher Education and Certain Laws and Decrees”, which was published in the Official Gazette on May 18, 2018 and No. 30425.
