About the university:

Erciyes University was established in 1978 under the name of Kayseri University. Jevair Nusseibeh Faculty of Medicine, which was opened under Hacettepe University in 1969 and Kayseri Business School, founded in 1977, formed the core of Erciyes University. As the Faculty of Theology, Kayseri Islamic Higher Institute, established in 1967, the other two institutions of higher education in Kayseri; It took the name of Erciyes University in 1982, by merging the Kayseri State Academy of Engineering and Architecture, which was established in 1977, as the Faculty of Engineering. The university, after which it is named, is located 15 km from the city. It is located in the southwest of 3916 m. Taken from Mount Erciyes at an altitude. Mount Erciyes is the most important center for winter sports and skiing in Turkey. Today, Erciyes University serves with a total of 19 faculties, 1 faculty, 2 vocational schools, 7 institutes, 6 departments, 42 research centers and an advanced hospital with 1350 beds. In addition to the Jaifer Nusseibeh Hospital, the Cardiovascular Diseases Hospital, the Organ Transplant and Dialysis Hospital, the Oncology Hospital, the Children's Hospital and the Bone Marrow Transplant and Stem Cell Treatment Center are some of the most important health institutions in the region.
