About the university:
The foundations of education and training at the University of Kyrenia, which was established with the aim of “raising graduates who can think objectively, question, research, produce knowledge and value, give importance to moral and ethical values and have a sense of social responsibility, with an international educational infrastructure” and is based on 35 years of experience and the fact that the infrastructure of the university Eastern to establish the first Maritime College in Cyprus was formed and put into operation in 1978.

Kyrenia University (GU) completed the necessary legal infrastructure procedures in 2013, with the permission of the TRNC Ministry of National Education (TRNC) and, subsequently, the Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation and Supervision Board (YODAK) on 19 March 2013 and 33/ By Resolution No. 2006-12, TRNC was established in Girne, one of the historical and most beautiful cities in Cyprus.
