About the university:

Sakarya University, which aims to educate individuals with all the necessary equipment required by contemporary civilization, formed the core of Sakarya University, which was opened in 1970. This school was transformed into the Sakarya State Academy of Engineering and Architecture in 1971, and between 1982-1992 it taught as a college Affiliated to Istanbul Technical University.

Sakarya University was established by Law No. 3837 of July 3, 1992.

Our university, which quickly completed its academic and technical infrastructure among the universities established after the 1990s, is the first and only state university to obtain ISO-2002 quality certification and “EFQM Excellence Competence Level Quality Certificate” with its administrative units, and it is the first and only state university with breakthroughs that It has achieved in laboratories, education, social services, Internet infrastructure and the information technology sector, and it is considered an example for many universities.
